Nalsur

Nalsur is the first of the great kingdoms, established when the ancient elves of the old far-eastern forests mixed with the tribes of the region. Nalsur now contains the allied cities of Koryova, Minsgorod, Margarite, and technically the port city of Harmes, which lies farther to the East and mainly handles its own affairs. Margarite serves as the capital, nestled in the bend of the River Glamis. The river city of Koryova is the next most populous, and it is from Koryova that the elves migrated across the river and began to establish the frontier settlements of Fife. Nalsur is often thought of as safer and more decadent than its wilder cousin, especially since its long history of unification and its geographic location have kept it safe from foreign invasion. The empire has mostly avoided projected internal strife, especially in recent years, by using the central continent as a safety valve for discontented citizens.

The empire has begun to make a tidy trade profit by stringing out the cities of Fife as they beg for support to attack or prepare for the orcs. The emperor of Nalsur shows no interest in joining any wars over the central continent, though he often teases future aid whenever the cities make trade requests or attempt to raise the price of their exports.
